Comparative Institutional and
Organizational Analysis Directed field research project combining course
concepts and frameworks with observations and
experiences in live “case” companies. Participants address a specific area of the value chain,
working to extrapolate examples of frameworks and
concepts learned. Opportunity to synthesize and understand the
interaction of concepts, principles and frameworks.

Applied Case Studies in Advanced and
Advancing Economies
In this integrative course, participant teams will focus
on the development and analysis of a series of applied
case studies to:
Understand innovative processes in established
and emerging firms. Apply industry- and market-analysis frameworks
and tools to identify and assess attractive
opportunities. Shadow executives from a range of industries in
Moscow to analyze their leadership. Contrast these
styles with the management styles of those in
advanced economies.
