On February 9, an 11-year-old girl was abducted and murdered in Delhi’s Nangloi area. This matter has been resolved by the Delhi Police. In fact, with the help of a missed call received by the girl’s mother, the police were able to reach the culprit. Police said that 21-year-old Rohit alias Vinod had killed the girl and he has now been arrested. Speaking to ANI, the girl’s mother said that on February 9, her daughter had left home for school at around 7.30 am. Her brother used to drop her at school, but that day she took the bus. When she did not return till 11.00 pm, we started searching for her. Contacted the police and filed a complaint.

The girl’s mother said that a missed call was received at around 11.50 am. When he called back on the number, the number was switched off. We informed the police about the call and the police started its investigation. On the basis of the mobile number, the police caught the accused. After 12 days of investigation, the accused Vinod was handed over to the police.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime and revealed that he killed the girl on February 9 and dumped the body near Ghevra Mor.
The girl’s mother said that “she was the only sister among four brothers”. Everyone in the house loved him very much. The girl’s father demanded strict action against the accused.
According to Delhi Police officials, a suspicious mobile number was detected during the investigation. With the help of which the accused was arrested on 21 February. He disclosed that he had met the girl on 9 February.
Delhi Police officials said that the case could be solved due to a ‘missed call’ on the mobile of the victim’s mother. It is not known why the murder was done. Only after the postmortem report will it be known whether the girl was raped or not. The inspection of the matter is going on.
