A teenager from Mahagama police station area of the district had gone out of her house to play Holi on Wednesday evening, but the next day her body was recovered from a field in Govindpur village. Police said that the father of the deceased has said in Tahrir that his 17-year-old daughter had left home on Wednesday evening to play Holi at her friend’s place, but did not return. According to Tahrir, his phone was switched off and even after a lot of searching, he could not be found anywhere.

It has been said in it that on Thursday morning people saw the dead body lying in a field in Govindpur village and on getting information about it, the relatives of the deceased also reached there. The father of the deceased is employed as a dumper operator in the Rajmahal project of Eastern Coalfield Limited and lives with the family in the Urjanagar residential colony.
In this regard, Superintendent of Police Nathu Singh Meena said that there were injury marks on the body of the deceased, due to which there is a possibility of her murder. He told that the police is investigating the matter and the body has been sent for postmortem. He claimed that the incident would be disclosed soon.
