Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will today lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 13 road projects worth Rs 5315 crore in Jabalpur and Mandla districts of Madhya Pradesh. Union Minister and Chief Minister Chouhan will lay the foundation stone of five 329 km road projects worth Rs 1261 crore at Police Ground Mandla. At the same time, at the Veterinary College ground in Jabalpur, eight road projects of 214 km length, prepared at a cost of Rs 4054 crore, will also be inaugurated.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the work of various road construction projects is being completed expeditiously in the state. Under various schemes, the state and central government have approved different routes. Many of these have been completed. Due to this the tourism importance of the state is also increasing.
Along with the sanctuaries and national parks of Madhya Pradesh, tourists from all over the country and abroad are also reaching here to get acquainted with the historical and spiritual heritage. This road revolution will increase the importance and pride of Madhya Pradesh. In this episode, 13 long road projects will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid today.
Chouhan said that not only the tourists but also the local villagers and urban population are getting the benefit of better roads due to the construction of roads. Along with this, economic activities are also getting a boost. A large part of Madhya Pradesh will benefit from the inauguration programs being conducted by Union Minister Gadkari.
