Aftab Poonawala, accused in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, has withdrawn his bail application filed in a Delhi court. Due to misunderstanding between Aftab and his lawyer, the bail application was withdrawn. Aftab’s lawyer MS Khan told the court that after a 50-minute long discussion with Aftab on Monday, the accused has decided to withdraw the bail plea. The lawyer clearly told the court that the petition was filed due to wrong information. The Delhi Police, while filing a reply in the Saket court, had said that Aftab Poonawalla should not be granted bail, as his crime had deeply affected the society.
