A video of a home guard doing X-ray of a patient at Ballia district hospital in Uttar Pradesh is going viral on social media. The viral video is being told of Thursday. In this video, it can be seen that the Home Guard jawan is making a patient stand near the X-ray plate and then comes and sets the machine. In the video, the home guard jawan can be seen operating the machine and giving instructions to the female patient while another staffer in uniform looks on. The lady in orange color saree is asked to raise both her arms and to this the home guard answers by keeping her chin on the machine after which the medical professional does the x-ray without any interference. As soon as the video surfaced, there was a stir in the administrative department.

After watching the video, District Magistrate Ballia Ravindra Kumar said, ‘Taking cognizance of this matter, I ask the Chief Medical Officer. A report should come that under what conditions the Home Guard is doing this X-ray. This is playing with the health of the patient. If the X-ray goes wrong then there can be a problem for anyone. We will also fix responsibility in this matter.”
